Unfortunately, my old computer died and I can't get the old version of Movie Collector to install -- activation fails. And don't want to "upgrade" to a $30 per year subscription for the current version of Movie Collector. So opening the database and exporting it will be difficult.
The Invelos software looks ideal for moving forward if I can get my old movie collection info into it.
I don't need 100% conversion. That said, I have location information that's the most important (after the movie title).
Ideas? Thanks in advance. |

I purchased a new license for Movie Collector, so I can now export the collection to XML. (I will not be using MC going forward -- I just am hoping I can now export my data to DVD Profiler.)
Unfortunately MC has deprecated export to CSV so that option is not available. Of the fields in MC, the most important are UPC, deviceid and storageslot. I can tolerate losing the other data I've entered. The XML export file is about 18MB. |
